Shellfish B5
An extremely high quality long-term food source that needs little introduction. It has been literally taking apart some of the most difficult waters for a number of years now. The high level of crustacean extracts give the bait a unique crunchy shell-like texture, that imitates much of their natural food ie, snails, mussels, caddis etc. The B5 also contains Betaine, Robin Red and low temperature fishmeals together with soluble fish and milk protein concentrates.
A brilliant ‘all season’ mix that has proved devastating on virtually every water it has been used on. Many anglers believe that this is the most successful ‘big fish’ bait ever developed.

B5 Handy Pack
(convenience in a bucket!)
As the name suggests this ‘Handy Pack’ is a very convenient product for those who wish to make their own B5 boilies or paste. The bucket includes 3kg Shellfish B5 Base Mix, but with all the dry mix additives found within the B5 suggested recipe blended in at the exact levels required, including Fruit Factor 6 and GLM extract! The bucket also contains the two liquid additives, namely Shellfish Plum and Red Salmon Oil, and will make up to approx 5kg of finished boilies. All you have to do is blend the liquids into the eggs and add the base mix until the correct consistency is achieved – simple.

Force 10
Another very high quality base mix that has the same crunchy shell-like texture as the Shellfish B5 but contains a combination of meat meals and fish meals in conjunction with F-10 Stim, cereal derivatives and milk proteins. Unlike B5, this mix does not contain Robin Red, therefore the resulting colour is brown/biege. It works particularly well when used with meat or fish based flavours such as the Crayfish F1 and has primarily been developed for use between March and November.

Cream-CSM
Probably the best cold-water bait ever developed, in fact, the colder the temperatures, the better the Cream-CSM appears to work! This bait has got a phenomenal winter track record and boasts an impressive list of big fish captures from a variety of difficult venues. Contains a finely balanced blend of soluble milk proteins in conjunction with our own exclusive combination of selected birdfoods. An ideal summer alternative to the more commonly used fishmeals or to keep those bites coming through the winter!
This is the same base mix that makes the Pineapple-CSM, Black Pepper-CSM and Cream-CSM frozen ready-mades.

CSM Handy Pack
The B5 Handy Pack has undoubtedly been our biggest selling product over the past 18-months and due to increasing demand we have now made the ‘Handy Pack’ available in the popular CreamCSM version. The base mix contains all the dry mix additives, including Sweet Cream and Betaine, whilst inside the bucket you will find enough Caramel Cream flavour and the Fruit seed Oil to make up at least 5kg boilies. These ‘Handy Pack’ buckets are absolutely ideal for beginners and experienced anglers alike. Does exactly what it says on the bucket – all you need to do is supply the eggs – simple!

Cranberry Red
Another highly effective birdfood/milk protein combination that sits nicely alongside our
Cream-CSM to give our customers an alternative choice as we move through the winter months. As the name suggests, the mix contains Cranberry palatants and optimum levels of Robin Red. Can be used to good effect all season, but particularly effective when the water temperatures begin to plummet. Matches up very nicely and works extremely well with our LT Cranberry.

It almost goes without saying just how important I believe a good quality nutritional base mix is when it comes to catching carp on a consistent basis. You’ve only got to look at the success of the B5, year after year, to understand that a good quality food source will completely out-fish baits with lower nutritional values.
One of the most important things to remember is that carp have the ability to search out and recognise food signals prior to consumption. In other words, a good quality food source will spell the word FOOD as it releases ‘attractor signals’ into the surrounding water.
Baits constructed with little or no food value are unable to do this, and once any added attractors have been dispersed into the surrounding water, there will be no more food signals coming from the bait. In short, a good quality food bait will continue to send messages of food long after other baits have stopped working, and will continue to prove more successful, both short term and long term.
