These unique 12mm pellet shaped Hook Baits have been carefully balanced with cork granules to counteract the hook weight. This makes them behave more naturally, leading to more bites and better hook holds. They are extremely tough and durable and are perfect for fishing over beds of pellets or boilies, or on top of silt or weed.
These extremely effective balanced hook baits have been designed to identically match our range of Shellfish B5 boilies and B5 Pellets. They contain all of the ingredients and attractors included within the famous B5 recipe including Shellfish Plum, FF6, GLM extract and Red Salmon Oil. Granulated cork has been added to give them a greater degree of buoyancy. They can be coated with our Fermented Shellfish Plum Liquid Food to increase ‘pulling power’.
Size = 12mm x 16mm.
Formulated with the same ingredients as our Hyper-Active Bloodworm Pellets, but with the addition of granulated cork to give them added buoyancy. These Hookers are brilliant for fishing over the top of the Bloodworm Pellets, and due to the inclusion of the granulated cork, they will be sucked into the mouth instantly as the fish begin to hoover up the pellets. They can be coated with our Fermented Bloodworm Liquid Food to increase ‘pulling power’.
Size = 12mm x 16mm.
These are the latest addition to the Balanced Hooker range and have proved very successful indeed during the past 12 months. They have a very strong pineapple aroma and have been based on a nutritional milk protein recipe, thus sending out attractive food signals. Once again, these Hookers are extremely durable and include granulated cork to create added buoyancy. They can be coated with our Pineapple Liquid Food to increase ‘pulling power’, and during the winter months, they sit nicely alongside our Pineapple-CSM boilies. Size = 12mm x 16mm.
There are definitely times when standard round hook baits can lose their effectiveness and a switch to a different shape can often produce the goods. These pellet shaped hook baits offer a viable alternative to standard round hook baits and when mounted on a slightly longer hair and fished over a bed of pellets, they can often make the difference between success and failure!
I believe their shape not only makes them very difficult for the fish to eject, but coupled with their near neutral buoyancy, they are also superb for fishing over the top of silt or weed. The fact that they are ultra tough means that they will last for many hours without being nibbled away by nuisance fish, Crayfish or diving birds. Definitely worth considering when the going gets tough!
